Rationalise categories and tags
Each post has exactly one category. Often starts with ‘Misc’ until it’s assigned something more appropriate.
Each post can have several tags. Occasionally these will need to be edited.
Added Zoom credentials to talk details
Added extra column ‘zoom’ to talks table of WP DB.
Made obvious changes to ncvp-cas-talks.php and .js.
Zoom section only appears if column is not empty.
Zettle
Option added to Membership and Social Payments pages. Not tried live yet.
It’s not clear how Zettle payments, which are inherently anonymous, could be linked in tto the Membership and Social Payments systems.
Talks
Individual talk details URL now correctly written.
No further data entered pending development of talks and events system.

Add Zettle notification option to mship form
The payment window now has a ‘Zettle’ payment button. The idea is that at the time the member uses the Zettle card reader to make the payment they also send the MemSec their person details.
This might work for the occasional payment, but certainly won’t work if 20 members want to renew at the first lecture of a year in September.
Can you connect any information to a Zettle payment? Card number could work for renewals.
