  • Add Zettle notification option to mship form

    The payment window now has a ‘Zettle’ payment button. The idea is that at the time the member uses the Zettle card reader to make the payment they also send the MemSec their person details.

    This might work for the occasional payment, but certainly won’t work if 20 members want to renew at the first lecture of a year in September.

    Can you connect any information to a Zettle payment? Card number could work for renewals.

  • Gift Aid declaration process

    Added slides of the pages, dialogues and emails seen during the process. Please comment

  • Misc Social payment form

    First version here.

    Halfway house between all-singing-and-dancing e-commerce system with products and a cart, which would be complex, and wouldn’t do the job, and an absolutely basic arrangement where event attendees were simply asked to send money to PPal@CAS.

    A remaining issue is how to distinguish the various payments (social events and membership purchase and renewal) in the PayPal activity log.

    Move complete directory (without .htaccess, which probably wasn’t doing anything) to root subdirectory here.
    Change PayPal from live to sandbox.
    Easy to add a standalone page to a WP site. Shame the reverse is not possible. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear in the sitemap.
    Re-direct xmas.CAS to main site. Use

  • Add Talks system

    /talks – Next talk details
    /talks/past – list of past talks
    /talks/future – list of future talks

    Click on any row in either list to get the talk details.
    c. 40 talks entered, but there’s no reason why they shouldn’t all be added if anyone wants to.
    No search facility in the lists at the moment.

    Issues:

    • /talks/past and /talks/future don’t appear on the sitemap because they’re not real pages. (What about SEO?)
    • Individual talk details are still written as /talks/?id=nn. The slug is not being rewritten properly. This is not very serious.

  • Title changed

    Now ‘CAS web development’ to reflect more general tests.

  • Cloud site moved

    Cloud site moved to cas.ncvp.co.uk

  • Notes page added to membership form section
